1960 was a banner year: I got my private pilot certificate, My daughter Jill was born and I started my Aviation Insurance Agency.

I had ten years in the general insurance business but liked flying with people and flying machines so I decided to specialize in aviation related coverages.

 

Through the years I have owned seven different aircraft but the one I liked best was the Cessna 195-B. It had cross wind landing gear that enabled it to land in a crab. Currently I fly my 1978 Cessna 182 Q N12LR based at KMMU Morristown NJ

Aviation Insurance is the last frontier of insurance. There are no rate manuals and the industry has great freedom to custom make coverages. It is fun The insureds are fun and the companies are fun because it is all so comparatively small that it is still possible to know the top executives of the companies

 

We are automated with a custom built database made just for us to do only Aircraft Insurance. We have all the goodies e-mail, ipad, iphone, etc BUT this is still a person to person business and we keep it that way!!!
